During the month of September, we have continued to offer virtual opportunities to learn from skilled professionals in the field of talent development.

A variety of webinars were offered this month. Keith Keating joined us for the second part of his series, “Design Thinking: From Theory to Application”, which focused on the successful application of design thinking in learning and development solutions. Myra Roldan taught us about “ID Fundamentals to Driving Innovation”, during which participants learned about Myra’s proven strategy for bringing value and innovation to organizations. Tiffany Vojnovski joined us to discuss “The Learner Experience Boost: Quick Wins to Use Today”. During this webinar, participants learned about how to present information effectively, while taking accessibility and cognitive load into consideration. Attendees during J.D. Dillon’s “Building a Smarter Learning Ecosystem” came away with holistic strategies to bridge learning gaps within organizations. Emily Ullberg joined us to speak about “Navigating Pandemic Disruption: Blending Learning for the New Normal and Beyond”, in which participants learned about how to effectively implement digital learning and maintain a sense of community at their organizations. Lastly, our monthly event “Casual Connections & Coffee” invites members to meet with one another while we are in the virtual environment; we look forward to seeing you at the next meeting!
