OCTOBER BOARD MEETING MINUTES

from the chapter

During the month of October, we continued to provide opportunities to not only grow, but also network with other members of the talent development community. Webinars offered this month allowed us to learn about a variety of topics, such as how to effectively work in the remote environment.

Performance Analyst and Instructional Architect Guy Wallace joined us this month to discuss “Performance-Based Curriculum Architecture Design”, an ISD methodology he has used to develop successful trainings for a variety of clients. We also learned “How to Stay Focused and Productive in a Virtual World” with Austin Bauer. During this interactive session, participants learned about Caveday methodology and how this can be applied to facilitate a more productive workday. Keith Keating joined us to discuss “Optimizing the Virtual Learner Experience”. This session addressed how to successfully shift from ILT to VILT and maintain engagement with participants along the way. Last, but not least, our monthly event, “Casual Connections & Coffee”, continues to offer members the opportunity to network with others in the field of talent development.

We look forward to seeing everyone and providing you more opportunities to learn and grow in November!
