It’s an exciting time to join the talent development industry! As organizations continue to evolve and grow, so does the need to train and develop professionals to enhance their skills and meet organizational goals. By 2030 the Bureau of Labor Statistics estimates an 11% growth in available jobs for Learning and Development Managers and Specialists, which is faster than average.

As a student or career changer, now is the time start exploring your career options within the industry of talent development. This session will help you navigate through those options and determine where you skills will be best utilized in the field.

Sean McClean

Sean McClean holds the designation of Master trainer for one of the world’s most innovative technology companies. Sean has been involved with training and implementation of IT Service Management tools and processes for governments, academia, and fortune 500 companies for almost three decades. His expertise ranges from technical implementation and development to IT process, coaching, mentoring, and facilitation. His contributions to the Technical and Training / Facilitation fields span national and international conference presentations, articles and reviews for organizations such as ATD, ZDNet, TFT, SupportWorld, and more.



Jared Narlock

Jared Narlock is a keynote speaker, author, and talent development coach who partners with leaders to build highly engaged and accountable teams. He has more than 17 years of experience partnering with C-level executives, Chief Culture Officers, Leaders and HR Professionals. His background encompasses all aspects of Human Resources, with emphasis in talent development and employee relations. Jared is a former Vice President of Talent Development, Director of People and Organizational Development, and TEDx speaker. His writings have been published on Forbes, ATD, and Training Industry.

After being honorably discharged from the United States Air Force and finishing his graduate degree, Jared went on to further his passion for learning and serving others by obtaining certifications with the International Coach Federation as an Associate Certified Coach and with the Society for Human Resource Management as a Senior Certified Professional.

His newest book, Becoming a Peaceful Powered Leader: How to Shed Fear, Live Courageously, and Own Your Peace, provides leaders with a toolkit for becoming more effective—by replacing often ineffective external efforts with powerful internal shifts.
