When you belong to the ATDCFL Board, you join the Chapter in a leadership capacity. You will be expected to make decisions as a leader, collaborate and make a positive impact toward to membership experience.

Vice President Roles





Business Dev focuses on extending the reach of the Chapter and maximizing financial growth through securing corporate memberships, digital marketing clients and sponsorships. You want to lead or be in this team because you are a natural people person with amazing sales skills. You are creative about how the Chapter can partner and benefit from industry wide participation and involvement in local conferences.
This is what you can do:

  • Contact and establish relationships with local L&D leaders to promote corporate memberships
  • Establish key relationships with learning vendors for sponsorship opportunities
  • Seek out philanthropic events and organizations in support of Chapter activities


Communications is a highly creative role with skills in graphic design, visual communication, video, eLearning or instructional design.
This is what you can do:

  • Design all artwork and write copy for all events
  • Design pamphlets and other Chapter printed media
  • Capture great moments with photography and videography at live events
  • Update and maintain the Chapter website




Finance is our guiding light in a sea of budgets! You want to lead or be in this team because you love accounting, budgets and spreadsheets.
This is what we do:

  • Lead and prepare the Chapter annual budget efforts
  • Maintain accurate accounting and financial statements on a weekly, quarterly and annual basis
  • Organize and conduct our independent annual Chapter financial audit
  • Manage Chapter financial resources and meet Federal and State regulatory requirements




Membership is all about keeping existing members and attracting new ones. You want to lead or join this team because you like talking to people and improving business. Each month, the Chapter loses and gains members. It's your job to identify why this happens and come up with solutions to reduce negative impact.

This is what we do:

  • Monitor and welcome new memberships
  • Pull weekly reports and provide insights on gains/losses/renewals
  • Organize membership appreciation and community events
  • Implement strategies for maximum membership growth



Programs is a role for those who love organizing parties, events, coordinating resources and managing projects.
This is what we do:

  • Find venues for each of our live events in the Greater Orlando area
  • Coordinate food, personnel and logistics for successful networking and learning events
  • Find renowned speakers at no or little cost to the Chapter for webinars and live events
