Stop taking orders. Start cooking!

Thursday, June 28, 2012

5:30 p.m. – 8:45 p.m.

Location:  Crowne Plaza Hotel - Downtown Orlando**

Program Description:

Speed to the window. Shout an order. Snatch the food. Speed off. Is it a customer at McDonalds … or a Leader interacting with Training?

It’s our fault. Instead of looking at our menu of options, Leaders stuck in survival mode order fast, comfort food solutions devoid of nutritional value. We need to demonstrate how well we can cook. Maybe then we can get them out of the kitchen.

This session offers a road-tested recipe for building credibility that the presenter - a 25-year Disney training veteran - has applied in numerous organizations. It features 25 respect-establishing competencies organized in five categories that combine into the acronym CLOUT(C): 1-Cultivating relationships, 2-Learning expertise, 3-Organizing work flow, 4-Uniting in purpose, and-once the first four are established-  5-Transformational growth through innovative menu options.

When Leaders knows who we are, what we know, why we matter, where we fit, and how innovative we can be, we can serve up healthy solutions.

Join us in the kitchen. We’ll cook up some growth.

OBJECTIVES:

- Examine a sequential model for building credibility with organizational leadership

- Analyze your alignment with the 25 respect-establishing competencies that build learning team credibility

- Assess next steps for applying the CLOUT(c) formula to move your organization from survival to growth
