JOIN US FOR Q&A ABOUT THIS PROGRAM

Barry Nadler has been an Instructional Designer for about 20 years. He is currently a thought leader on a training team that provides internal systems and job role training to the largest financial technology company, FIS. He has been active with ATD, through the Central Florida chapter for more than 5 years. This includes board-level positions, cochairing the volunteer committee for their ICE conference several years ago, leading two Instructional Design boot camps, and being involved in leading various training events for the chapter. He has also been selected as a speaker for various industry conferences over the past several years.

Key Problems We Will Address During those 4 Sessions.

  • Employees across the business are being asked to do more work with less time and smaller teams. How does L&D support these requirements?
  • ID teams can be small. They typically support large groups of people. How can they scale their efforts to be more effective in shorter timeframes?
  • The pandemic lockdown changed how training operates in many ways. It also brought forward the need for new skill sets at a faster rate. What are those skills and how do learning professionals gain these skills? Where can L&D look for inspiration?
  •  Learners are turning away from long-form online training because of time, preferring less formal presentation, and lack of relevance to their immediate “work” they are doing. There is a desire for more learning opportunities, though. They are looking for less formal options, more personalized content, and a more conversational tone in the material.
  • Businesses believe L&D is a key to unlocking the value in their human capital. But, L&D is struggling to speak to the business in a language it understands.
  • The tools of L&D are evolving. This includes AI, AR, VR, gamification tools, data, etc. How does one keep up with these changes and when is it appropriate to use them?  Want to hear more? Engage in our first conversation on June 21. Looking forward to see you there!
Looking forward to sharing with you
this great Learning experience!
