An Articulate 360 Overview with Yukon Learning

We're excited to announce Part 2 of our webinar series, showcasing the Articulate 360 suite of tools, hosted by Ron Price, Chief Learning Officer, with Yukon Learning.

In our first session we explored many of the features of the Articulate 360 suite. We explained how you can save design and development time with the thousands of prebuilt courses and templates, demoed the review tool, and much more.

Newer Storyline users sometimes learn the harder, more time-consuming approaches to tasks and miss out on the tricks that experts use to save time and effort. In our second session, we will explore additional tips and tricks for using Storyline 360. 

You’ll be introduced to many of the best time-saving tips that will help you use Storyline more effectively. You’ll look at how slide masters and templates can help speed up your development processes without making your content look blandly identical. We’ll explore custom default settings, format and animation painters, media library, team slides, and other time savers that can reduce the number of steps in creating new slides and interactions.

Even if you’ve been using Storyline for years, by the end of this session you’ll be able to use this familiar tool more efficiently. After this session you will be able to:

• Master the art of using slide masters to build course consistency
• Set your own defaults to help design slides with less editing
• Use format and animation painters
• Apply shortcuts and other simple tools to save time without sacrificing creativity
• Adjust layer properties to achieve your desired result
• Add trigger conditions to restrict course navigation - including the new “else” option
• Create hotspots and initial states to delay interaction
• Design more complex animations with the Timeline Visualization feature

About your facilitator: Ron Price

 

Chief Learning Officer Yukon Learning Ron has over 35 years of experience in organizational effectiveness, leadership coaching, instructional design, spiritual development, and experiential learning. His unique background has allowed him to support a wide range of customers, from schools like Duke University and Harvard Business School to multinational corporations like Sanofi, Amazon, BP, and Pepsico. 

In 2002, Ron founded “Real-ationships”, a consulting firm and outdoor challenge course devoted to assisting individuals and organizations in increasing their performance while developing and maintaining authenticity and integrity.

After joining Yukon Learning in 2008, Ron began working closely with the Articulate engineers and community team to design and develop the certified training programs for the Articulate suite of tools. Ron enjoys facilitating training sessions and designing e-Learning solutions for Yukon Learning customers, but his real job is working to help maintain Yukon Learning’s “best-in-class” culture.
