“What Media for Training?”

Program Description:

 Training is made up of lots of moving parts and more frequently these days some of the components are video oriented or interactive, which frequently looks like games. With tablets moving more into the workplace the affordance of interactivity and visual information is becoming more important. Are there any guidelines to help make the decisions as to where to put what kind of media and when? And if not, where do you decide to put media types into your eLearning. Join Stephen as he shares his insight and expertise on the changing world of media in the training world.

Facilitator Bio:

Stephen Haskin

Stephen Haskin started his career in video production and computing in the 1970's. He has worked with Digital Video and e-Learning since the late 1980's and he has been at the forefront of streaming media. Previously, Stephen was a producer and director of film and video, and won many awards for his work. Steve worked for the University of Michigan for several years, but has now returned to the private sector, where he currently directs and consults for distance learning projects and video. Steve frequently speaks at conferences and seminars and is the author of several books.

Pre-Paid registrations will not be refunded after the fifth day and pending confirmations will be invoiced with payment due upon receipt. This policy will remain in effect as an effort to cover catering expense and unsold seating created by holding your reservation. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
