The Florida ATD Vibe Coding Special Interest Group (SIG) is a statewide, virtual learning community designed to support eLearning, gamification, and interactive learning designers across all Florida ATD chapters. The SIG offers a consistent, high-value space for members to connect, share best practices, explore tools, and collaborate on real-world building challenges using modern, low-barrier coding approaches. Together, we’ll experiment, iterate, and create functional solutions without the pressure of traditional coding expectations.
No coding background is required, just a willingness to learn, try, and build together.

About Our Host
Rachel Weiss (aka: Technologist) is an Orlando-based Instructional Designer who loves transforming “meh” training into engaging, gamified learning experiences that people actually want to complete. Through her company, E.M. Designs, she blends strategy, storytelling, and tech... think Storyline games, scenario-based eLearning, JavaScript magic, and AI-powered tools to bring complex ideas to life. With a sharp eye for usability and a playful approach to innovation, Rachel is your go-to technologist for building learning that sticks (and sparks a little joy along the way).

What's In It For You?

  • Build real skills by doing, not watching. Experiment with tools, try new approaches, and leave each session with practical ideas you can immediately apply to your work.
  • Learn alongside a supportive community. Collaborate with peers, get feedback on your ideas, and gain confidence exploring new technologies without needing to be “the expert.”

Think of a SIG as a club within the club.
It’s a small, trusted group where you show up consistently, share ideas, make mistakes, and grow together. Pick one or two SIGs this year, commit to the journey, and experience what real connection and learning inside ATDCFL feels like.

SIGs work because they’re built on consistency, trust, and shared purpose. When the same people show up month after month, conversations go deeper, feedback gets better, and learning turns into real progress. By committing to one or two SIGs, you’re not just attending meetings; you are investing in a community that supports your growth, challenges your thinking, and helps you move forward faster than going it alone. That’s where the real value of a SIG lives.
