Facilitator Biography
I’m a facilitator who came into Learning & Development the long way around—through psychology, healthcare, retail leadership, and a hard‑hat start in construction.

I began my career in the field, not in a training room. My first days were spent on jobsites with boots that weren’t broken in yet, learning side by side with craft teams. That experience shaped how I think about learning: it has to be practical, respectful of people’s time, and directly tied to safety, quality, and getting the work done.

Before construction, I studied psychology in Nicaragua, completed business coursework at Miami Dade College, and earned a technical degree as a Medical Assistant. In healthcare and retail, I discovered how much I enjoy helping people grow—training new staff, breaking complex processes into clear steps, checking for real understanding, and creating space for questions without judgment. Those experiences made it clear that my “through line” is people development, even when my job titles looked different.

Today, I work in construction as a Project/Field Office Assistant, sitting at the intersection of operations, HR, and employee experience. I coordinate trainings and project logistics, support onboarding and benefits questions, and help teams adopt new systems and processes. One project I’m especially proud of is supporting the rollout of a digital time‑tracking tool: I listened to field concerns, simplified the process in plain language, and tied the change to what mattered to them—fewer corrections, less frustration, and more accurate pay. Adoption went up, errors went down, and we gained back meaningful hours for both the field and the office.

I’m currently pursuing my Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management with a focus on Learning & Development and leadership growth. Alongside my studies, I stay engaged in women’s networks, leadership development groups, and internal initiatives that improve onboarding and learning for project teams. My long‑term goal is to serve as a bridge between field operations and HR—designing learning that feels real, relevant, and connected to the culture we’re trying to build.

As a facilitator, I bring a down‑to‑earth style, a strong respect for field realities, and a belief that learning should feel useful, not theoretical. I love working with people who are “too busy for training” and finding ways to meet them where they are—on the job, in real time, with tools and conversations that actually help them succeed.
