The best musicians and comedians know how to improvise with style, but can rule-bound HR and training professionals benefit from employing the same skills? Of course! Have no fear - the laughs will come naturally in this low pressure but highly interactive workshop as we explore the concept of “purposeful play” and learn how adopting an improvisational mindset can transform the way you work.

Full of practical improv tips and tricks used by the pros, you’ll learn how leading with “Yes, And” can help you become a better creator, communicator, and business partner in and out of the classroom.

Jordan George, sHrbp, Ldcp

Jordan George is an award-winning talent development leader and speaker with a passion for helping people do what they do, better. And he genuinely loves Mondays (yes, really!).

As the Head of Leadership & Talent Development at CFE Federal Credit Union, Jordan oversees the organization’s talent strategy and leads an ever-expanding team in delivering on their mission to “deliver transformative learning experiences that elevate our people, company, and community”.

He also hosts their weekly employee-run podcast, WeConnect@CFE. Having devoted the last decade to designing innovative and highly engaging learning solutions for everyone from Fortune 500 companies like Starbucks and Wyndham to small- and mid-sized enterprises, Jordan knows how to get people excited about learning. He’s also a total pro at making stuff up (don’t worry, this bio is the real deal).

As a professional improviser, Jordan has performed extensively throughout Central Florida as well as at the world’s largest improv festival, the Del Close Marathon, in New York City. Harnessing knowledge and techniques gained from his experience as a professional speaker, trainer, and performer, Jordan helps leaders and teams improve communication, amplify creativity, and cultivate positive employee experiences that empower people to do their best work (and maybe make Mondays suck a little less along the way).
