Making Strides, October 29th, 8am- American Cancer Society
Please sign up to walk and raise funds with me! Friends and family may join as well. No age limit...strollers allowed. Many fun events to participate in leading up to the walk.
This year, the American Cancer Society is encouraging people to “put on your pink bra” to fight breast cancer. The pink bra is a resounding symbol of how personal this disease is to women. It is a call to arms to fight back against breast cancer by supporting our mission, while also empowering women on their cancer journey.
There are 2.5 million breast cancer survivors who celebrated another birthday last year because people like you signed up to walk with people like me. I'm walking with the American Cancer Society because I like that the money and awareness we raise help people stay well and get well with around-the-clock info and amazing support programs. It also helps find cures through research and empowers people to fight back for legislation that help save lives from breast cancer. Last year Making Strides brought together 100,000 walkers who raised over $6 million.
The best part? Because those funds were available, more people in our community...
Thanks so much!
