Facilitating and coaching performance improvement within you, in your team, and your organization--- that’s where her passion begins. With over 20 years in the talent development field and serving as a Certified Executive Leadership Coach, Anita helps clients improve leadership and organizational performance using her formula for leadership success. Anita served as our 2013 President of the Central Florida Chapter and continues to support the chapter’s growth as a volunteer with ATD’s certification virtual study group and other initiatives.
Session Title: Becoming a Leader Worth Following Anita will share best practices for: Being an authentic leader through true authenticity Creating deeper connections with others through powerful listening Expanding the power of your words for true engagement in life and at work Barry Nadler has been an instructional designer for about 20 years. He currently is a thought leader on a training team that provides internal systems training to the largest financial technology company, FIS. He has been active with ATD through the Central Florida chapter. This includes board-level positions, co-chairing the volunteer committee for their ICE conference several years ago, leading two instructional design bootcamps, being involved in leading various training events for the chapter, and currently leads the LXD SIG. Session Title: Are You a T-Shaped L&D Professional? You Should Be! Barry's session will explore: How your skills compare to what the field seems to require Key skills needed for a modern learning professional Framework to map your own skill set Gary Ross works with everyone from the C-Suite to the production line to be a better communicator. Prior to his training, coaching, and consulting work, Gary led communications departments at CDW, Hyatt Hotels, and Fortune Brands. Before joining the corporate communications profession, he worked as a reporter and anchor for WCBD-TV in Charleston, SC, where he was nominated for an Emmy Award in investigative journalism, traveled overseas with the U.S. military and reported from the eye of Category Four Hurricane Hugo. Gary is a member of the Public Relations Society of America, the International Association of Business Communicators, the Association of Change Management Professionals and the National Speakers Association (Illinois Chapter). He holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism degree from the Medill School at Northwestern University. Session Title: Leading Difficult Conversations Gary will facilitate a communications training session that will include brief portions of courses offered by his organization, InsideComms. Topics will include: Fundamentals of Communication Writing and Speaking Leading Difficult Conversations Eliminating Filler Words Attendees will receive a complimentary access code to the InsideComms courses (https://plus.insidecomms.com) to evaluate the content for their own organizations.
