This class will enhance your Personal &
Professional Capability

Financial literacy is an essential skill that empowers individuals to make informed and responsible decisions about their personal finances. It involves understanding various financial concepts, such as budgeting, saving, investing, debt management, and planning for the future. By acquiring more knowledge on this topic, individuals can improve their financial well-being and achieve their long-term goals.

Cheryl Blakeney was born in New
York and now resides in Altamonte
Springs, Florida. Anyone that knows Cheryl knows her God given passion and purpose in life is helping people. She has been a mentor for the last 20 years, inspiring young people to pursue their dreams in life through a scholarship program for lower income families. Five years ago, she became a Financial Educator and Retirement Protection Specialist, and this decision has created a positive impact in her life.

Cheryl’s mission statement is “ALWAYS be a positive influence in people’s lives.”

After 40+ years in the accounting profession, Cheryl realized the importance of and recognized the need for financial literacy and decided to pursue a career in the world of finance. Just imagine making your money work for you instead of you working hard for your money. She is committed to sharing her financial education on various platforms and at different venues.

Cheryl is very passionate about paying it forward to share the financial information she has learned from others. Her motto is “Financial fitness is like a muscle, the more you use it the stronger it becomes.”

Cheryl has been married for 36 years. She is the mother of 4 adult children and the grandmother of 3 amazing grandchildren, who she loves and adores. In her spare time she loves spending time with her family, volunteering and enjoying life to the fullest.

Looking forward to seeing you soon,
