Join us as we celebrate 30 years of the Central Florida chapter of ASTD! The evening will celebrate all the accomplishments from the chapter's 30 year history. Barry Altland and Lisa Spahn, former chapter presidents, will act as emcees for the program festivities. The keynote speaker will be Laurance Alvarado, a member of the National ASTD Board of Directors, who will share his insights on the state learning and development today and into the future.
We look forward to sharing great times together as we celebrate "Passing the Torch" to the next 30 years for the Central Florida chapter.

Building an Economy Together
Through Learning
What is the state of learning in the context of building and growing an economy? Keynote speaker Laurance Alvarado will explore creating integrated partnerships that support meaningful organizational design beyond L&D trends. Laurance will share his insights for creating learning and agile organizations that are focused, flexible and fun.
About your Keynote Speaker:
Laurance Alvarado
Laurance is an entrepreneurial nomad. Cutting his teeth in the Air Force, he's worked in over 20 countries, helped develop a new city in one of the Far East's most dynamic countries, led Middle East operations for a Big 4 consulting firm, started his own economic and development company, and is currently a co-founder of a Silicon Valley company focused on health care software and apps. He sits on several for-profit and non-profit boards and loves learning.
Laurance Alvarado is currently serving a three year term from 2011-2013 as a member of the Board of Directors for the National ASTD organization.

As a friendly reminder, cancellations are due no less than 5 days prior to the program. Pre-Paid registrations will not be refunded after the fifth day and pending confirmations will be invoiced with payment due upon receipt. This policy will remain in effect as an effort to cover catering expense and unsold seating created by holding your reservation. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
